Maqam Urfa recorded in the sixties by Abdul Rahman Khidhr Sufar al-Bayyati (1925-1984), a disciple of al-Qubbanchi, and al-Chalghi al-Baghdadi (santur: Haj Hashim Muhammad al-Rejab, joza: Sha'ubi Ibrahim al-A'dhami, dumbuk: ?) sung to a poem by Iraqi poet Abdul Ghaffar al-Akhras (d. 1872), which has also been used by Yusuf Omar and Muhammad al-Qubbanchi with the same maqam. The maqam is transposed here on A, which is a bit higher than usual.
